Where Can I Buy the Card?
Online gift card orders recieved after 2 p.m. will not be processed until the next business day. Cash, credit cards and corporate checks are accepted.
Or, Get your gift cards online or at the Downtown Community Alliance office at 700 Locust Street, Downtown Des Moines between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

How Does It Work?
The Downtown Gift Card will work just like a credit card at participating merchants.
There is a $1 activation fee per card when you purchase the card. If ordering more than 10 cards, the activation fee is waived.
Does the Card Expire?
The Downtown Gift Card does not expire and will retain a full balance for 1 year. During the 13th month after purchase, the card will begin to lose its balance in increments of $2/month, until the balance is gone. Your current card balance is available 24 hours a day online at www.getmybalance.com or by calling 800-755-0085.
