Wadena Rock Festival 40th Anniversary Event

Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Wadena Rock Festival at the State Historical Museum, 600 East Locust in the East Village. See an exhibit of festival memorabilia and a multi-media presentation featuring images from the festival along with music. A panel discussion with former Governor Robert D. Ray, Dennis Naughton (author of a book about the festival), Gerald Blue of the Fayette County Union newspaper who took photos at the event and Ron Sorenson will also be held. The step back in time starts at 2PM and there's no charge to attend.
If you're a fan of karaoke, head to Buddy's Corral, 418 East 5th Street. Pick your song, take the mic and sing the night away! The fun starts at 9:30PM.
All ages can enjoy a full lineup of entertainment at The House of Bricks, 525 East Grand in the East Village. Hear Pain of Evolution, Doomsday Crush, Punching Betty, and Twisted Youth starting at 5PM. Cover is $5. For more information, visit www.thehouseofbricks.com.
