They are visiting 15 cities in a quest to find the best and brightest musicians the courntry has to offer. THe winner of each talent showcase, decided by the fans at the show, will receive an invitation to play at Wakarusa 2010 at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas. The winners will also have their music featured on their website and will compete in an online talent showcase. The top two bands that receive the most votes in the online competition will play the Revival stage at the festival. Performing will be The Workshy, Cirrus Minor, The Uniphonics, Omega Dog and Maximillian Eubank. It all starts at 8:30PM, and there's a $5 cover.

It may be cold outside, but the Downtown Marriott Ballrooms and Rock River Lounge will have temperatures rising Saturday, January 30th when the Central Iowa Blues Society welcomes 9 acts on 5 different stages. This multi-band event will culminate with an After Hours Jam in the Des Moines Ballroom in the Downtown Marriott.
