Kevin is an amazing young photographer who will share his experiences traveling all over the world on a skateboard in his memoir, Doubletake. Born without legs, Kevin was otherwise a healthy baby and grew up like any other Montana kid. He used his success as a professional skier to fund his international work on a project called The Rolling Exhibition, and in October of 2007, gave his first public presentation on the series. Since then, The Rolling Exhibition has been featured on ABC, BBC, NPR, and media outlets around the world. The author appears as part of the Journeys Author Series.

It’s amazing what creative minds can make out of canned food! See yourself when CANSTRUCTION returns to SCI, March 27- April 2. These amazing pieces of art are designed and built by a team of architects, engineers and students thinking outside the box for a great cause. After the display ends, all nonperishable items are given to the Food Bank of Iowa.

IWhat’s the big deal about tiny science? Join SCI and museums across the country in exploring science, engineering and technology one-billionth of a meter small during Nano Days, March 27-April 4. We’ll gave special car demonstrations all around SCI to get hands-on with amazing nanoscale science!

All ages will enjoy the lineup of music at The House of Bricks, 525 East Grand in the East Village. Hear Index Case as they play from their "The Weak and the Wounded" album and special guests Mindrite and Silence is Broken. Music starts at 5PM. Advanced tickets are available at www.midwesttix.com.

Hear pop/acoustic/experimental music when H & K takes the stage at The Vaudeville Mews, 212 Fourth Street in the Court District for a concert for all ages. Joining the duo in the concert for all ages, will be The Honeybees. Music starts at 6:30PM and doors open at 6PM. Cover is $5.

The Monads bring their banjo, fiddle, acoustic guitar and doghouse bass to the stage at The Vaudeville Mews, 212 Fourth Street in the Court District, in a concert for those 21+. Hear their bluegrass/punk/americana sound starting at 10PM. Doors open at 9:30PM. They'll be joined by Mr. Baber's Neighbors. Cover is $5.
