Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market Parking

The Downtown Farmers’ Market - Winter Season is conveniently located indoors at Capital Square. Capital Square is located at 400 Locust St or one block north of the regular season Market’s location on Court Ave.

Meter and ramp parking are available and free on weekends in downtown Des Moines. There are three parking ramps within two blocks of the indoor market. All three ramps have direct access to Capital Square through the Downtown Skywalk system.  Ramps are located at: 5th and Walnut, 3rd and Court and 4th and Grand.

Ambassador Service will once again be available for Market patrons. Ambassador Service is located on the ground floor of Capital Square next to the information booth. Market patrons drop off heavy and large items to ease the shopping experience. Shoppers can pick up their purchases when they are ready to leave. Or for patrons who would rather drive up to pick-up their purchases market ambassadors will bring purchases check-in at the package check to the loading zone behind Capital Square for shoppers to conveniently pick-up in their cars.
